Chronic β1- adrenergic receptors activation is implicated in the pathogenesis of HF and β-adrenergic receptors blockade improves survival in left ventricular systolic dysfunction. The individual approach to HF patients, which based on gene β-adrenergic receptor polymorphism, may enable patients to be identified who are either poor prognosis of HF, or who are unlikely to benefit from β-adrenoblockers.
195 patients were examinated. The Ser49Ser/Gly389Gly gaplotype of of 1-adrenoreceptors gene was determinated of a poor prognosis and a sensitivity for treatment of bisoprolol.
Key words: heart failure, β-adrenergic receptor, β-adrenoblocker, gene, polymorphism, bisoprolol
